The Legislative & Policy Committee helps the OCA’s monitoring and action committee for OLCC, OHA, Legislative and other cannabis jurisdiction rule changes and bills. The committee oversees policy changes, collects memberships concerns; and makes recommendations based on member feedback and committee goals.

The areas of focus for the Legislative & Policy Committee are: 

• Advocate for OCA membership representation and transparency in the formation of Rules Advisory Committees. 
• Outreach to regulators and legislators regarding industry standards and concerns 
• Review policy endorsement requests from outside organizations
• Assist in planning annual DC lobbying trip
