A recent communication from the City's Office of Neighborhood Involvement (ONI) asserts that the City of Portland considers events allowing any form of cannabis consumption to be illegal, and that they are planning enforcement actions around their interpretation of the law.

As you may know, the Oregon Health Authority has released a bulletin announcing that early sales of some extracts (pre-filled receptacle containing no more than 1000 mg THC), edibles (15mg THC) and non-psychoactive topicals (less than 6% THC) will begin next month on June 2nd. The Oregon Cannabis Association is proud to have been crucially involved in the passage of this legislation and will continue to work with the OHA, Oregon Legislature and other allies as the rules are being developed.
